Ned Snow

This Salvadoran woman made her house out of painted bottles and caps (look closely), as you can see all over the world everyone is doing their part to help preserve the beauty that surrounds us.

She hung each bottle in place, replacing the normal walls of a house. She also took the bottle caps and pressed them into the cement as she built her foundation.

For my 25th birthday we went to Las Flores, El Salvador to celebrate a quarter century gone by with much to look forward to in the future. There were a few days of swell and I ended up breaking 2 longboards; I was shattered at the time but after they got repaired I was back in the water for a few more fun ones. On my last day I gave both of my boards to a Salvadoran kid named Enrique who had helped his uncle finish sanding my broken boards. “Live to Give,” pass it on in 2010!
